Pros

Compassionate and committed co-workers, generous paid time off, good benefits, and access to cutting-edge research in behavioral health treatment

Cons

Leadership seems to be completely out of touch with direct service delivery and tools needed for employees to do their jobs. The EHR used does not have complete functionality for reporting, requiring employees to manually track some data and is filled with glitches our IT Dept and the vendor seem unable to fix. Raises and bonuses are few and far between, and most similar agencies in the state pay considerably more for nearly every job classification making recruitment of new staff and retaining current staff difficult. Turnover is a big problem which affects both employees and more importantly, clients.

Pros

This company cares about it's clients and staff. They are very flexible with scheduling and family friendly. Managers have listened to my goals for employment and worked to help make those happen.

Cons

As with any social service job you find, the pay is lower than you'd like, but they do try to increase as able and have incentives built in for staff as well.
