Pros

Friendly providers who offer educational support

Cons

Management doesn't care about your effort and finds ways to exploit you. The staff are unsupportive and don't offer you room to grow. There is no opportunity to grow with this organization. Salary in not competitive. While it is unionized for non management positions, the non-union staff receive higher raises yearly and don't respect the union and instead prioritize unrepresented staff. They say their budget is low but not enough to pay individuals who make a difference and suffer from unfair wages. They decline every effort that the union makes to value their staff by increasing the wage gap. Honestly, there are other organizations that do the same work and value the work you do. Consider Virginia Garcia, Cascadia and Outside In and Multnoma County. You are not a number at these organizations, you are valued.
