Pros

1. Good compensation 2. Supportive Indian colleagues

Cons

1. Force you to work late in the night. 2. US/Canada managers are worst. 3. No technical trainings 4. No welcome kit like real IT company like no branded bag, no T-shirts, no branded bottles like others 5. In entire lock-down no electricity and internet charges bared and forget about WFH Setup like table and comfy chair. 6. No joining bonus to show-off. They just ask us to put joining enthu in LinkedIn but gift no goodies to show-off. 7. There is a lot of pressure to work on things that you don't know. 8. Work life balance is not handled. 9. Have to work on new technology domain if you are new to that and expert in other technology. 10. Onshore team is not cooperative, they are not easily available. When you are new in the team and you need support they don't entertain you. 11. Minimal learning 12. Legacy tech

Pros

Cool product. The office has a nice and clean cafeteria. Work-life balance. Interns get good benefits from the company (When you ask).

Cons

There is a very clear line between an intern and a full-time employee, aka, interns don't get big responsibility and are refused for certain data access even if it's relevant for work. Although interns are "considered as interns" very explicitly, they don't get the mentorship they need in contrast. Whoever volunteers as mentors don't fulfil their responsibility and leave the interns struggling through everything. Colleagues fluctuate in quality. Reliable people exist but there is a considerable amount who just don't get stuff done and sometimes even leave the responsibility to interns... The company is new but the culture is very old and stubborn. Reluctant to changes even when it's visibly better than the current rules. The reason we get is always "Because back in Nuance we did it like so" Like to promise but never fulfilled anything, the agile methodology and management is a mess. Planning is not realistic and cause extra work on the developer. No trust from the management side, always telling developers what to do and never ask our opinion when changing the tools WE use!
