If you're coming from a science background, this job doesn't actually involve much science. It's not a microscopes-and-labcoats job. It's a steel-toe-boot-and-hairnet job. Background noise in lab may bother some. Sterile (company-provided) scrubs are worn over clothes in lab. Those are fine, but some of the time you wear sterile gowning over that, for 2-5 hours at a time. That means no water or bathroom breaks for that time period.

The sales culture is highly political and performative, with a lot of emphasis on low value activities, appearances, internal meetings, and social alignment rather than execution and customer outcomes. Leadership changes sales strategy for key products every quarter and creates ambiguity.
