Business Outlook
Pros
Lots of great technical work to be done. People are mostly passionate about the work they do. The work is meaningful and has a positive impact on the world. Free charging is a good benefit.
Cons
The company has been struggling in the past year. During my first 3.5 years of employment, pay was decent, benefit were decent and the company was rapidly growing. However once the revenue growth slowed down, the company had to pivot to a completely different business model and has almost completely deprioritized hardware. It seems like they are trying to pivot to an asset light software company rather than developing their own hardware which costs a lot of money. Time will tell if that is the right approach.
