Pros

Quick hiring and onboarding process

Cons

Strictly financially driven, and they don't even try to hide it from clinicians. Low pay - high expectation to put on a salesperson hat and direct folks you assess to programming at Charlie, even if you don't think that is what they are needing. Assessment roleplay during interview - makes you feel like a toddler. I came in with a masters in social work and as a licensed masters level social worker and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. Wanted me to use my LMSW license, but would not provide the required supervision, leading me to have to pay for it myself.

Pros

- Paycheck - Ability to tell yourself that you work for a company that is making a difference in people's lives

Cons

Heed all the negative reviews and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not take a job on the GTM recruiting team. KPI obsessed - they track everything down to the amount of messages you send on a daily basis. Live and die by all the data, and will use it to micromanage you if you aren't meeting their unrealistic expectations. PIP's are normalized - If your performance dips for a couple of weeks, they will threaten putting you on a pip. There are people that I personally saw who get put on a PIP less than 3 months after starting - there is not much room for error - ruthless and cutthroat. Small pool of candidates - Very strict hiring criteria which narrows the scope of candidates you can consider, leading to many of the GTM recruiters messaging the same candidates repeatedly. Compensation is also lower than most other healthcare sales roles which further limits the scope of candidates to consider. With all of these factors, hiring really boils down to getting lucky with responses or applicants. Poor culture and low team morale – High pressure environment with no work life balance. Expected to consistently work nights, weekends, and holidays when numbers are not being hit. Leadership also actively pits recruiters against each other by putting two different recruiters on similar territories and this causes you to step on the toes of your colleagues.
