The starting pay and pto and office atmosphere is cool.

Cons

Management is chaotic and unprofessional, with reactive communication and poor emotional regulation. Certain managers lack basic people-management skills, often responding defensively instead of addressing issues constructively. Even when mistakes are acknowledged, accountability is deflected back onto employees rather than resolved. This environment discourages open communication and actively blocks internal growth, as leadership has been known to sabotage opportunities for employees seeking advancement or transfers.

Charlie Health is a place where you’re challenged in the best way. It’s definitely a fast moving and metrics driven environment, but you’re never left to figure things out alone. The tools, support, and leadership are solid. The culture is transparent and positive, and the GTM Recruiting team is truly special. I feel lucky to enjoy my work and the people I work with every day!!

Cons

Like any growing startup, things can change quickly, which can feel challenging at times but it’s also part of what makes the work exciting and impactful. If you are not used to KPI and metrics driven environments then it might take some getting used to. But, if you are ready to grow your career and work at a top company then you should take the challenge. I do wish there were more comprehensive health insurance options for families.
