Pros

The benefits are pretty good.

Cons

A lot of politics going on. A lot of gossiping and backstabbing. Senior management does not spend enough time with you to help you be successful, even when you ask for it.

Pros

Technology is great, initial training is awesome: chase pays for your series 6 & 63 licenses. Uncapped commissions, so if you are lucky you can make good money with investments and loans.

Cons

Constant management turnover: I had 4 different branch managers in a two year time frame. They micro manage you even when you are exceeding you sales quotas. They don't recognize your achievements very much. They have high turnover of employees due to constant termination for small incidents: 3 strikes you're out, doesn't matter how small the incident.

Pros

The people within the branches are great individuals to work with. The brand recognition is helpful when selling and the benefits are great.

Cons

Upper management only cares about aggressive selling products in ways that are very unethical and unmorally sound. In the process, there are several violations of their own policies and federal regulations. Personal bankers are obligated to disregard compliance to meet sell quotas that may be not suitable for customers and even contradictory of their request. Within this company as an employee you are only a number and reminded every day that you are expendable. At Chase, you are no longer a noble professional banker but rather you will become a sleazy car salesman.
