Pros

It was a good place to work, benefits, well know name in the industry. Mostly very good people to work with.

Cons

Had problem with promotion decisions. Unfortunately split with former joint venture partner is the reason I am no longer there.

Pros

Working for Chase has great benefits such as health, dental, 401k things you really need after not having them when you graduated college. Working environment: I've worked in New York City and California. I will tell you the difference between the two. New York City is very straight to the point. We are hungry and we want to make money. I worked in a large branch so you need to watch yourself constantly or someone will steal your sale. I have great work ethics and always tried to do things the right way. Its about the customer. If you do your job and do as the managers want, you will have no problems here like anywhere else. California is more laid back. They were formerly wamu so they are more "order takers" and not like us Chase people who take initiative. I'm not saying all former wamu bankers are like this. People here are actually nice. I can say the branch that I work in I am fortunate to work with good hearted people. We are out to make money too yes, but we work together and we don't steal eachothers sales.

Cons

I hate that at times you feel like you have to constantly watch what you say or do. Its a constant battle. You meet a lot of fake people here who know how to fake the funk to get where they need to be and they could care less if they hurt you in the process. I've witnessed a lot of petty things here and I can't tell you enough to watch your back.

Pros

The culture is open(as we experienced so far). People are willing to help and talk to us about their work, managers are extremely helpful.

Cons

At an intern level, I can't exactly think of anything. But as I observed from other people in this company, people are a little unsatisfied with the opportunity for promotion.
