Pros

The people within the branches are great individuals to work with. The brand recognition is helpful when selling and the benefits are great.

Cons

Upper management only cares about aggressive selling products in ways that are very unethical and unmorally sound. In the process, there are several violations of their own policies and federal regulations. Personal bankers are obligated to disregard compliance to meet sell quotas that may be not suitable for customers and even contradictory of their request. Within this company as an employee you are only a number and reminded every day that you are expendable. At Chase, you are no longer a noble professional banker but rather you will become a sleazy car salesman.

Pros

*fantastic work life balance - management accepts that you are not just an FTE but a human being *somewhat small start up tech company feel *nimble and quick to change to market demands and conditions *best technical department I have ever had the opportunity to work with *recent acquisition by J.P. Morgan Chase provides best in class employee benefits and retirement plans, best in class equipment, resources, etc.

Cons

*growth limited to that of payment processing industry *recent acquisition by J.P. Morgan Chase brings on a wall of bureaucracy, arrogance and pompousness; also is making company more slow to react to market conditions

Pros

The benefits are world class, and the company is quite strong in this economy. You would be proud to work for a company with a history as rich as this one.

Cons

No flexibility in the branch, the branch management lack sales savvy, so it makes it a challenge for them to practice what they preach.
