Pros

Chase is a great place to work. The Management team I work with is amazing as well as the regional manager. They all work very will with me and help me be a better employee. The amount of work given me is reasonable and I love that I don't have to refer certain products anymore. Our whole focus is to just get the customers to sit down with the bankers, and Chase makes it very easy for us to do that. I also love the people I work with. My management does a great job at hiring good people, which makes it fun to go to work.

Cons

Being a teller is sometimes really hard. We get a lot of very angry customers. Chase does have more fees than WaMu, which is a bank that just merged with Chase. So, our WaMu customers aren't happy with some of the things Chase does. For example, WaMu had same day availability. So when a customer made a deposit, the funds were available that same day. Chase has next day availability. So when a customer deposits a check from a different institution, they don't have access to that money until the next business day. Also, some of chase's systems are frustrating.

Pros

Great company reputation, many different opportunities throughout the company, and good pay.

Cons

HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION between departments and management. I work within the Home Finance devision at a call center and i'll tell you it was not what i was expecting when i applied. Yes i understand its collections, but there is NO professionalism in that building at all, that includes upper-management. People constantly getting fired , it smells like a cafeteria in there due to everyone always eating at their desks. Bathrooms stay DIRTY all the time, a major lack of communication between different departments. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Other employee's don't want to work, they constantly unload work onto someone else. Supervisors are always walking around and talking with other supervisors, so you can never find help if you need it. Major intimidation by management in order to get what they want and they treat you like your a kid.
