Pros

Chase is a very large and stable organization to work for with a history of providing excellent shareholder results. There is a great opportunity to build sales skills for recent college graduates.

Cons

As an experienced member of a retail bank management team, the compensation package is completely unacceptable. Particularly for any former WaMu team members. It is nearly impossible to believe Chase believes their management teams would find it motivating to take a pay cut of at least 25% per year for two years. It is unfortunate for high talent managers to be treated as numbers and not recognized for their contributions to the overall success of the company. Other downsides include robot-like sales scripting, little or no opportunity for frontline to develop their careers, hours worked, and stack ranking. You can be at the top of a sales campaign but still not meeting target, while others can meet target while not meeting the sales campaign and be paid their bonus, due to a mismatched tier and stack ranking structure that does not take actual bottom line or production into account.

Pros

The company has a wonderful reputation. There is no reason for you to worry about your employer! The health, dental and vision plan is excellent. They also have a wonderful pre tax transit program. Their benefits are pretty good. They also have locations throughout the country so if you would like to find a different location it is not difficult.

Cons

Some of the management is grossly incompetent and consistently displays vulgar attitudes and barbarian principles. Managers pitt employees against one another and try to get them to compete -but not in a positive way. They spread rumors to promote disharmony and constantly threaten you that someone else will get your job. They make you work off the clock and say its standard in the industry and if you don't do it someone else will.
