Pros

friendly coworker.................................treat each others fairly.........Benefit: 401K matching 5%, pension is still offered after 1 year of service which is very rare nowadays, the health and dental benefit is great, there's extra bonus for employees if the branch did well

Cons

Very long hours, non stop working....career opportunities is low, don't invest on employee....And the power holder shifts with every management change, especially with all the mergers that's been happening over the years - JPMorgan / Chase, JPMorgan Chase / Bank One, and now with Bear Sterns it will be interesting to see.

Pros

They have a good benefits package.

Cons

Make no mistakes about this place, despite what the managers may tell you about their great push to promote from within and develop your career, here is zero opportunity to advance. Zero. You can work your butt off, be friendly with everyone, and they will still find some ridiculous reason (that is, if youre lucky enough to actually get a definite reason. most people dont) not to train you or promote you. I have never before been employed by a company that is so reluctant to invest in its employees.
