Very collaborative and open to new ideas, very intelligent passionate employees, dynamic work environment that continues to be challenging year after year, high level of autonomy

Cons

Unclear vision for the future, perception that there is too much emphasis on who you are friends with or related to, compensation doesn't track performance

The people are great and the environment is challenging & promotes learning. It is a workplace you look forward to going to each day. They are always looking for ways to improve their methods and promote creativity and innovation.

Cons

Health care is terrible. The flat employee structure can make people unsure of their career progression.

Pros

Chatham bases much of its hiring decisions on a person's likelihood to build lasting, trusting relationships with clients as long as the person demonstrates potential to learn the math and finance. I appreciated how much the company invested in me so that I could become a great consultant. Chatham really does strive to be a values-based organization. Its "multiple bottom line" philosophy is more than just lip service, and I was proud to be associated with almost all of my teammates throughout the organization. There are some truly wonderful, caring, and competent people at Chatham.

Cons

There is sometimes very little understanding about how careers can and should develop at Chatham, and that ambiguity can be frustrating for people who aspire to grow beyond their initial ramp-up. I am certain they are working on this issue, but it has caused some people to leave.
