Great products, great people, lots of growing pains.

Pros

The company produces amazing network security products. The people at Check Point are brilliant, full of creative energy, and really vested in company's success. The atmosphere is very collaborative, welcoming to sharing ideas, even when disagreements cause heated discussions. Overall, the typical Israeli work culture that is void of unnecessary hierarchical formalities, while allowing for life-force balance, is simply invaluable.

Cons

The company is growing at a very fast pace, and it results in some frustrating growing pains. People share very tight spaces and are subjected to a lot of construction noise. Salaries are not great.

Pros

They offer free lunch to everyone. Good place for the following 1) young people getting started 2) People who live in San Carlos 3) people who are unemployed or in the twilight of their career who can't find another job

Cons

Culture starts from the top. And this executive team continues to let history repeat itself by not providing their employees with any trust to execute on their jobs.They micromanage the entire company and squelch almost any idea that is not their own. There is a revolving door in the San Carlos marketing department. They can't hold on to good people because they realize they can leave the company and get more money, promotions and more respect working for another company.

Pros

Not many to speak of.

Cons

Totally micromanaged, constant turnover, difficult working environments, not interested in any new ideas, stuck in the past, only interested in the "deliverable", not it's purpose or what the outcome will be. They expect you to always be working day and night. The US is just an outpost, the world revolves around Israel. Super cheap organization from every aspect.
