Pros

1. You might get a decent base pay at the start of your career at CP. 2. Benefits were good, but they changed health benefits. Which are only good on the east coast now. 3. The biggest pro is the level of engineering support you will receive. SE's, specialist SE's, and architects at CP are amazing and some of the best you will encounter in Cybersecurity. 4. There are some pretty decent people at CP, some monsters as well, but overall, the people you work with are great.

Cons

Oh, where to begin. CP is behind on technology, CP is behind on treating people well, CP has some of the worst comp plans you can possibly imagine, and they change every year, to something worse than the year before. Top leadership is clueless to what to do to fix anything. VP level, C-levels, no idea how to make things better. There is a disconnect between field sales reps and specialist sales organizations. They do not team up, they fight each other. HQ is a huge blockage to success, they believe the world revolves around them, they do not understand how sales works and how to succeed. I spent five years at CP. I received two small pay raises after exceeding 100%. The other years I received RSU's in lieu of a pay raise. SMALL RSU's. There is no room for promotion. Maybe a title promotion but doing the same role, that is huge at CP, but no real promotions are available. Again, the monsters. Most people at CP from the ground level are great people. But the bad apples ruin everything. Some people have been there for many years, losing accounts year after year, treating people horribly and nothing is ever done to correct behavior. Harassment is rampant. HR is on the side of management. The technology is behind all the industry leaders. CP will make an acquisition, and it'll become the flavor of the year and then forgotten about the following year.

Some stability, but low pay and outdated systems

Pros

Somewhat stable, benefits are not too terrible

Cons

Very low salaries and not a lot of raises. All internal systems run on extremely old school tools. If you're looking for a place that is truly putting effort into innovating through and through (not just external products, but internal systems as well) this is not the place for you

Pros

* Very strong company stability and brand recognition in the cybersecurity industry * Smart, experienced engineers with deep security and networking knowledge * Emphasis on code quality, design, and long-term maintainability * Good work-life balance compared to many tech companies * Competitive compensation and solid benefits * Opportunity to work on products used by large enterprises worldwide

Cons

* Processes can be slow and bureaucratic, especially in larger teams * Decision-making is often top-down, with limited influence for individual contributors * Some parts of the codebase are legacy-heavy, which can slow down development * Innovation pace may feel conservative compared to startups or more fast-moving tech companies

Pros

Restricted stock unit encourages us to stay. Work from home arrangements make us good. Nice new office close to the MRT station. We also have good regional colleagues.

Cons

The global renewal and inside sales strategies are struggling even VP has been running for 3-4 years. The new regional “head” hired from since FY25Q3, lacks the business acumen and political savvy needed to navigate the challenges and survive. It’s a complete and utter disaster. Local HR is useless. She has no strategy at all.

Pros

Comfortable place to a work life balance, nice people, few useful benefits like insurance, gym and activities for kids in the summer

Cons

lack of challenges, big lack of strong people to learn from, average-low salaries, no raises in the last few years at all. Most of the mid/top managers are unprofessional ex-big-dinosaur-corporate workers. almost zero benefits , terrible gifts on Rosh-a-shana and Pessah, no parties or cool events, mostly health/sport zooms and lessons.
