Pros

Great company and even better products. May not always be first to market but when products come out they are great. Treat employees well, no micromanagement, great overall experience.

Cons

Marketing and pay is just average. Need better marketing to customers informed of all of our offerings. Pay is just ok, competitors pay more but I also don't fear for my job.

Pros

They offer free lunch to everyone. Good place for the following 1) young people getting started 2) People who live in San Carlos 3) people who are unemployed or in the twilight of their career who can't find another job

Cons

Culture starts from the top. And this executive team continues to let history repeat itself by not providing their employees with any trust to execute on their jobs.They micromanage the entire company and squelch almost any idea that is not their own. There is a revolving door in the San Carlos marketing department. They can't hold on to good people because they realize they can leave the company and get more money, promotions and more respect working for another company.

Pros

- Great culture, not micromanaged, or being babysat by upper management unless you are not doing your job. - Amazing work/life balance. The best I have been a part of in my experience. - The ability to see how things work internally, and feel comfortable enough to suggest new ideas or an approach to better things. - Management does listen, beyond that is /dev/null.

Cons

- Training for the various products is severely lacking. The expectation to know all products offered without proper training is difficult. - Management of accounts and tech support can be lackluster, it's a "who you know" game in order to get proper escalation and support most times. - Yearly targets are solely based your numbers, not the scope of reality of the accounts. So, if you have a REALLY good year you have to meet, or exceed that number. - Career opportunities internally are lacking, more opportunities are presented from customers. - Change is S-L-O-W.
