      Amazing company to work for despite some

      Pros

      -Great product portfolio with lots of selling potential -Family-like atmosphere with incredible work life balance -Open to career progression internally -Open access to communication with development -Anyone can make an impact. Taking initiative on your ideas will be h -RSUs and strong stock program Overall I love my career at Check Point and hope to stay long-term. Despite some cons that will always be present in other organizations of this size, I would not want to be anywhere else.

      -Management out of touch with reality of US market -Historically weak at marketing which has hurt image/credibility -Low pay relative to industry and competitors -Unorganized, delayed and confusing Compensation plans

      Great Technology and Great People

      Pros

      This is a great place too work with great people. Lots of training opportunities and the opportunity to move into other areas of interest. Fantastic team mates and a great boss. Work hard and we have fun. Great Leadership with lots of internal resources.

      Cons

      Cheap company travel--nitpick on every little thing. Commission targets change constantly and are not very fair. High turnover due to Commission targets and not as competitive compared to other companies.

      Pros

      Very stable company with excellent security products. Great relationship with local management team who will do all they can to support me meeting my goals and quota. Lots of opportunity to grow your knowledge in the security field with plenty of training opportunities.

      Cons

      Low pay, well below average for the position and what competitors pay. Hard to understand comp plan with lots of caveats that make it difficult to get paid on what you actually sell. Limited marketing, the sales people seem to be the marketing. Getting the help you need from corporate to help sell is a challenge at times and lots of hoops to jump through.
