      Pros

      Working at Check Point is great. There is room to grow as professional. Check Point has a broad portfolio, I see that as a plus, because I get to learn about other technologies, and to have a holistic view of cybersecurity. I am happy with the salary, compensation package and stock options. The culture at Check Point is to help each other and collaborate. It is a very friendly environment, and you can see it across all regions from Americas, EMEA, & APAC.

      Cons

      When you work for a technology company, you need to drink from the firehouse. Technology is constantly changing and it makes it hard to become an expert on everything. You have to pick and choose what you are passionate about and focus on that area of expertise.

      Pros

      Some of the best bosses and managers I have ever had. Great work and life balance. A lot of co-workers have been here for awhile and are very happy.

      Cons

      Entry level compensation on the lower side. Complex commission structure. As with many other big companies the internal processes can take a bit. Complex Licensing but good overall support and resources.

      - unequal pay (new hires make more than senior staff) - employees constantly leaving for better opportunities (better pay) - constantly understaffed - mediocre compensation package the longer you stay - unequal work loads between employees

      Pros

      The company is a huge advocate and believer in promoting employees internally. The company recruits individuals with little to no experience in various fields and offers them opportunities otherwise unprovided in the High Tech world. Long term stability. Employees are provided training and opportunities into new fields of expertise they are otherwise not experienced in.

      Cons

      Lower salaries and compensation plans than most companies in the High Tech industry. Managers are only provided an annual budget for team bonding events (the budget is just enough to cover costs for a night out at a semi fancy restaurant). There isn't a clear uniform organizational culture, it varies from office/department/country.

      Pros

      Well established cyber security company often with early stage startup agility. Human resource is excellent with very good community. Excellent work life balance and hybrid work model.

      Cons

      As a manager, retention is sometimes hard due to the nature of the company - large scale enterprise compensation is unmatchable to startups or other smaller companies.
