The money is not bad and you get lots of experience. You get quarterly bonuses and relocation is always possible.

Cons

No quality of life when you work 12-14 hour days and have to be there at 6am. It is way too much work and understaffed for it!

Horrible customers and executive management that could not care less about their staff. Awful, awful, awful. Run and hide. I am not even bitter. It was really just that bad.

Good quality food and you no longer have to wear a tie.

Cons

The customers are beyond ghetto. They swear at you, throw food at you, threaten your life, don't tip, want everything for free, and complain incessantly. It is just about the worst experience I have ever had as a manager. Servers will get worked to death because they are always short staffed because any server who is worth anything quits after 6 months once they realize they cannot make money there. The check average is soooooo low and the customers are soooooo cheap that there is no money for servers. Be ready for 10 to13 hours shifts and to walk with less than $100. It is the same at every location.

I'm proud to serve the food and I enjoy working with most people on my team.

Cons

Having at most three tables to take care of is rough, especially when people are encouraged to stay and relax. Not having automatic gratuity on large parties often hurts the server.
