The company pride itself on helping low income people which generally consist of black. They give the illusion they support diversity however they don't support the people they represent most. After years and years of being employed here last year they finally made MLK a holiday. Two years ago Juneteeth was a major holiday which is the day blacks were freed from slavery. Over 75% of their patience are minorities however only about 5% in corporate are minority and even less are upper management. Instead they hire numerous clinical workers to give the image that there are a lot of minorities within the company. Blacks do not get promoted at the same rate as others and generally are the first to be laid off. The open door policy management has is a stab in the back if you bring it to their attention. A target will be placed on your back just as I became the bullseye. The slave mentality is alive at the company as they use Blacks to achieve their goal and grow their business but continue to portray an image of unity and fairness while still continuing to use and misuse those in corporate. I didn't realize how big of a favor they did by setting me free but I am free now. If you are black this is not the company for you. Avoid it and those who are there get out before they get rid of you. You will never grow at this company in corporate. We are not given the same opportunities however they are building their fortunes off our backs. Walk the halls and look around and ask notice how many Blacks are in corporate. Then ask yourself why? What happened to them ? Blacks who work here has a very familiar saying these use as a joke however it is reality.
