We proactively ask our team members for their feedback. Quarterly, we send out an anonymous employee engagement survey so each team member can voice their opinions, in addition to speaking with their leader. Quarter after quarter, we continue to receive outstanding results. ChenMed was also recently named to Newsweek's list of The Most Loved Workplaces for 2021, placing 1st in the healthcare category. We are proud to foster an environment where employees can live out the values of love, accountability and passion.

Pros

Mission is honorable - Helping Seniors

Cons

The most toxic work environment EVER. Sales managers lie, cheat and steal to protect their favorites including changing rules midstream to favor certain salespeople. The local sales managers were so racist and toxic that they favored people of a certain skin color only and made exceptions for them. Reporting issues to HR was of no use. Several people have gone to EEOC to file formal complaints against local managers because of their unethical behavior.

Our mission, serving medically underserved seniors, is hands-down our number one priority. We are happy to hear you feel connected to it! Part of executing on our mission includes caring about the wellbeing of both our patients and our employees. We are sorry to hear you don't feel taken care of. We do not tolerate the behavior you have referenced. JenCare’s Code of Conduct includes a strong non-discrimination policy, is committed to diversity equity and inclusion, and demands that all employees treat each other professionally and with respect. Accountability is a value we take seriously. We would like to discuss this situation with you as soon as possible. Can you please reach out to your local interim Sr. HRBP so we can look into this? Thank you!

Pros

The owner's are amazing with a good vision and mission. They are doing great work for the neediest populations around the country.

Cons

The risk management department has poor management, little knowledge of Risk Management/insurance and lots of unnecessary meetings/huddles and daily logs to go over daily tasks. Too much time is spent going over what your going to do versus what is actually getting done. Management delegates management tasks to their employees and not considerate of the employees responsibilities.
