Government bureaucracy made the process more important than the task. It was more important to get the paperwork right with the right approvals than to complete the task.

Decent work environment and benefit package. With current project, presented with avenues to expand experience with research and analysis, writing technical and non-technical documentation, and preparing complex reports and presentations.

Cons

Does not promote employee education and growth. Does not reward employees who excel at meeting position goals. Little opportunity for promotion. Need to offer more opportunities for employee growth through education to faciitate promotion to other job titles or to work on other contracts within the company.
