      Pros

      The company has made significant progress in creating an inclusive work environment. The move to more work from home positions has created opportunities for quality candidates to apply from outside our service territory.

      Cons

      Compensation still seems to be an issue. However, I think that there is movement to be more competitive in pay and salary offers.

      Chesapeake Utilities is a great company to work for. It's a solid and growing company that is always looking to improve. They employ great people, and they care about them personally as well as professionally. They value their employees and their efforts. Team work is strong here.

      The more you achieve, the more that is expected. Sometimes it can be overwhelming/unrealistic.

      Family like, big on safety, growing and developing the people who work here as well as the business itself. Each employee is made to feel like they are a part of the growth and development and important as an individual.

      Some growing pains as the employee marketplace is not keeping up with the demand.
