Pros

Flexible schedule. Walk away with cash every night. Will learn excellent customer service skills over time. Chevy's has a bar and promotes liquor specials so your sales will always be aided by liquor sales, this is an easy way to make extra tips.

Cons

Customers are horrible. Corporate office sends out an endless supply of coupons which attract seedy customers. Coupons also generally lead to smaller tips as customers generally only tip on reduced amount. General managers are usually imcompotent and typically only last a few months. You are forced to make your own desserts, which slows down service because desserts are time consuming. Servers now ranked based on criteria that really has little to do with what your overall contribution to the workplace is.
