There are many cons about this job. This store hinders personal growth. Many employees have complained about abuse from management and their team leaders. There has been an ample amount of emotional abuse in this store. Most of the employees are very selfish. Everyone wants to get ahead of the next person, but they do it by breaking each other down. Many of them just strive to make others miserable. Favoritism was a big issue in the store. People would be promoted without any unique strengths and abilities, thus many people with leadership positions were not very strong employees and their character was poor. There was never a time without drama or poor treatment in that store. The best thing I could have ever done for myself was leave because I regretfully say that this was one of the worst experiences of my life.
Besides the fellow employees, many customers treat you with disrespect. They talk to you with a vicious tone, may swear at you, or may say something is your fault when it isn't. Regardless, "the customer is always right". Needless to say, when you're not getting harassed by the staff, you are getting harassed by the customers.
