Where shall I start? The bonus system is very generous....however, no store can maintain a constant growth in sales, month after month, year after year. The district manager has the most unrealistic performance expectations I've ever seen. If you don't make your sales numbers, you're humiliated in front of every other store manager in the district. I was late one morning because I'd broken my hand, and was at the hospital and got written up for it. I eventually walked out. They expect you to wear Chico's clothing, and ONLY Chico's clothing, even it the pants are too short for you, the fit is awful, etc. Don't try to wear another brand, even if there's no identifiable branding on what you're wearing: automatic write-up. The discount is very generous, but when it's weight agains the ungodly high prices, you end up spending SO much money just for clothing for work that you don't have much left for your actual EXPENSES.
