Pros

the job fulfillment is amazing, everyone is welcoming, encouraging and willing to work with you on any matter.

Cons

Not really a con. If you are a timid person you've got to get past that, bc everyone you encounter will expect direct honesty, and if you can't express this, they will presume you are doing great and don't need help. Just ask for help if you need it! they want you to feel independent. No micro managing.

Pros

I like that we are able to work with children. The specialty clinics are full of knowledgeable doctors. They work well with each other to provide patient with the best care and outcome possible.

Cons

If you do not have a nursing degree, children's does not offer very many incentives and opportunities for advancement. Recognitions and management options require a bachelor's degree in nursing before you would be considered.

Pros

I love how positive and happy everyone is to work here! As a medical Assistant, things are continuously changing and growing, and I love that our management has kept us in the loop over the last year to encourage our input on changes and to make our role standard. Being a Medical Assistant at Children's is an honor, as I enjoy being a vital portion of the Child's patient experience, and time here at the clinics. Children's SPC developed an MA/CCP committee, to bring together the Medical Assistant and Child Care Partner roles to have a constant voice. This has increased my job satisfaction immensely as I know that leadership cares about me and my role.

Cons

I don't have a lot of cons to mention. The only thing I would say, is that I feel like the organization has come a long way in the last 2 years on listening to their employees. I think that the communication is so much better than before, and I actually feel like I'm a part of the change, instead of having to adjust to it.
