Pros

The hospital offers a decent benefits package in addition to salary. CHW recognized difficult economic times early on in the recession, made responsible fiscal decisions and has maintained a solid staff.

Cons

Employees will not be promoted from a manager to director level with an advanced degree. CHW doesn't care what type of masters (MBA or MA) or where it was received from (online) as long as it's on paper.

Lost focus on people and the care they provide, it's all about exec's / consultants and money

The insurance is still very good even with having a marrage additional cost. Great if you have kids as you get a healthy discount.

Cons

No career path for most people, a lot of favortism between managers and "friends" on staff. Extensive lack of caring and contact for staff.
