Pros

The mission of caring for children is the best out there. Being part of this mission is very rewarding. There are many great people that work at Children's which makes it appealing to work there.

Cons

Leadership over the past 5 years has changed the environment to a negative and punitive place to work. Employees are seen as tools rather than people and are treated without consistency or consideration. Over that past two years, there has been a trend to remove 8 out of 18 leaders in one entity alone, all with made up reasons. There is an expectation of loyalty for Children's but there is a lack of loyalty for employees. Very caustic place at this point.

Pros

There is a somewhat flexible schedule

Cons

Unsupported by supervisors Asked to do unethical things/deception Told to do case manager's paperwork if they do not complete it in time Clients do not matter; it's all about the numbers and making the agency look good

Pros

Provides exceptional care RHE the children of Wisconsin and beyond.

Cons

Lack of respect and value in employees throughout ALL departments. HUGE turnover recently in ancillary departments and mostly nursing. When I started at Children’s it was very difficult to get a job here. Not so any more. They used to treat employees exceptionally. Now they tell us we are replaceable. Only staying because I’m stuck. Upper leadership and the organization as a whole has turned from a service provided to keep our kids healthy to a business where profit is the ONLY thing they see. Very unfortunate.
