Pros

The environment at children’s is great. The supervisors are very nice and helpful.

Cons

Way too understaffed. If you’re working inpatient, you will basically be on your feet for the entire 8 hour shift. Very difficult and exhausting job.

There is a true sense of professionalism and structure that you dont get in smaller organizations. Lots of opportunities to continue growing in your work and education. Compensation is ok, built in benefits are great.

Cons

Money; unfortunately Childrens is not untouched by larger systems issues like funding and DHS which consequently trickles down to teams.
