Pros

You will get to learn a TON about washing dishes.

Cons

Ever changing management. For advancement, you will be expected to work many hours for free. Your new bosses will bring in thier people and cut you out.

Worst job I've ever had

Pros

- free employee meal + 50% off meal on days off - tuition reimbursement - paid breaks

Cons

- no breaks for 7-8 hours at a time (they make me take my break as soon as I clock in, which doesn't really qualify as a "break" in my opinion and does not follow state laws). I get questioned when I go to the restroom for 2 minutes or get followed into the restroom and asked where I'm going - low pay - very high turnover

Pros

You will learn useful skills and keep busy. The opportunity to advance is nearly always there so promotions can happen quickly, plus benefits, and tuition reimbursement (for those that apply).

Cons

It's a physical job; you lift, cut, scrub, move quickly for most of your shift. The procedures and policies are always changing. The training has a set outline it ought to follow but it's often rushed or neglected entirely if that position is being filled in a hurry or your trainer isn't available for some reason. Hungry people can be mean people, but Chipotle's policy is to reward them for even looking at the sign and that gets frustrating at times. Certain stores are very poorly run and with those you get into bigger issues; time tampering, unsafe conditions, unrealistic expectations, hostile management, and so on, but coporate is pretty good about shutting stuff like that down (no need for more lawsuits), so reporting them is an option.
