Pros

Great environment, Opportunity, Rewarding, Managers are brought up from crew so they understand.

Cons

Compensation isnt amazing, but they do have benefits, PTO, and help pay for school, even for regular crew members. Development is part of the job. Its not a great place for someone that doesnt care to do a little homework.

Pros

The work environment is really friendly and family like, you will feel like you fit in well with all your co workers, and managers. You will have many opportunities to grow and expand beyond being a crew member marking the difference between that and a dead end job. They also offer free meals and tuition reimbursement .

Cons

The resturaunt culture will not be comfortable at all. Very high pressure, and constant effort and consistent dedication is non-negotiable , even if you're not feeling well (emotionally or mentally) they will not tolerate the breakage of the chipper happy atmosphere and work environment. Managers are on you like a hawk to constantly remind you to smile and to create an extraordinary customer experience .

Hammer to the hands

Pros

The pros would be the good pay, the food with integrity, the harvest program (donating their extra steak and rice for those less fortunate), the crew is usually great and easy to get along with, the crew all care about each other, and the essential values of the company are admirable (but the execution of these said values are poorly done so)

Cons

Dicey training Stressful management team Over-worked, excessive hours You go into the company being told how great it is, how everyone has opportunities to go to higher places, the standards for the culture are so high that you're expected to keep a smile on your face the entire time.. No one can do that unless they're a statue. No matter how much hard work you put in it does eventually go unnoticed and unappreciated, the management team will slam the hammer down on you if you make one mistake in your energy. Even if you provide the best customer service you can if they catch you forgetting a smile at any one second hell will be raised. They fire the committed, and keep those who should be fired. I was there for nearly 4 weeks and didn't even have a chance to grow and become the top performer they were looking for. I was getting fast, efficient and I always made sure there was enough food on the line for our customers, not to mention I was personable and friendly even when I was "looking down" to, oh, I don't know, scoop up their food and make sure there was no mess afterwards?!
