Thank you for providing your feedback regarding your employment experience at one of our franchised hotels. As a franchisor, Choice Hotels International does not own or operate hotels franchised under its brands and the hotel staff are employed by the independent owner of the hotel. We recommend that you provide your feedback on the applicable brand site on Glassdoor (e.g., Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, etc.) and identify the particular hotel at which you were employed.

Thank you for your positive review! We are glad you enjoy your hotel discounts. Although some positions at Choice do not offer a year end performance bonus, we do offer performance incentive pay throughout the year via our Star Award program. For more information, please see your HR business partner or visit our intranet for details.

Pros

Employee travel discounts are OK, but I would never stay at any Choice hotel chain because they are all below economy brands.

Cons

Choice corporate office has no urgency in replying to hotel properties. I'm in the Sales Dept and it takes up to 3-days for someone to respond back to you from the RFP help desk...3 days!! They really need to increase their employees to help assist with the volume of requests/questions sent from properties. When you need to load rates into the GDS system you have to contact your DCM for LNR's and the RFP dept for national accounts. It would save so much time if Choice would allow each property to submit GDS forms for approval and go from there...Choice really needs to step up their game by working more efficiently. I placed an order for sales collateral. It has been over a month and I still have not received my order. I sent an email to "choicemarkit" and the agent said it normally takes over a month for any collateral to be shipped out. ??? A MONTH!!! That is insane... My review title says it all. WORST HOTEL BRAND TO WORK FOR.
