We strive to maintain above average salaries for the publishing industry, and our annual profit share bonus is rare for companies in our industry. All of this plus the work environment, benefits, and the collaborative spirit of Chronicle Books combine to form a company where our average tenure is 7 years which is something we're very proud of.

9yWe appreciate this feedback. It is always our goal to help our employees develop and progress in their careers at Chronicle Books. We also value a good work/life balance with most employees working a typical 9-6pm schedule and many take advantage of flexible work arrangements (flexible hours, working from home, etc.) as needed and as appropriate for their roles. We also strive to maintain above average salaries for the publishing industry, and our annual profit share bonus is rare for publishing companies.
