      Pros

      Company has a great reputation within the industry. Stock has held up well as compared to peers and the company continues to outperform its competitors.

      Cons

      Company is highly political and definitely not a meritocracy. This situation worsens the farther you make it up their corporate ladder.

      Pros

      Chubb is a great place to work because all the people are very nice and helpful. Management is very understanding and it is not a ridiculously stressful environment to work in. Also, in this marketplace, Chubb is a very reliable company and you will have job security.

      Cons

      In general, Chubb pays less than most other insurance companies.

      Pros

      From a customer's standpoint it is a great insurance company - the customer comes first, if any doubt - their loss is covered. The benefit is always given to the insured. The benefits are very good; and depending on what office you work in - work/life balance is supported.

      Cons

      Because it is a good company to work for - people tend not to leave and that limits the opportunities for advancement. There are broad differences in working for the company depending on what department and/or what office you work in. Senior Management/Home Office needs to do a much better job at communicating in general and at communicating a vision for the company.
