Talented and kind colleagues may be despondent. No matter what you do or how hard you work, it never feels good enough. Salary too low, progression is too slow, expectations/reponsibilities too high. Lack of motivation probably stemming from lack of confidence in directions. Hard to find a good role model or someone in the next level that inspire you. That person may be good, but may not be happy, hence you don’t want to be in their position. Poor company culture
