Business Outlook
Pros
Flexibility allowed around part-time working. Bonus scheme is good as company is doing well. Management are reasonable people. Holiday allowance is OK and there is usually no problem in taking your days when you want to.
Cons
There is a lot of travel and staying away from home in this position and this may include a requirement to spend spells of 4-6 weeks abroad on the multi-national contracts. There is a tendency to forget staff who are out on site and you are expected to just get on with it and teach yourself if necessary. Training and staff development is not a strong point.
