For my position really couldn't move up- because higher ups either have their favorites or certain people like to be in charge & will not help you grow. New president who drove our company into bankruptcy - was sold to a new company -

They offer great salary, but don't fall for it (see Cons section)

Cons

As soon as you come on bench, your salary is decided by the next project you are put on. If the billable rate is lower, they will ask you to take a sever pay cut or lay you off. Senior Management is not helpful and are rude.
