      Close to home for me

      Cons

      A very cheap compay. Horrible worklife balance unless you don't have a life outside work. No respect. Very strict. No joy. Very dull. They discourage socialization and force you to eat in their cafeteria in order of your position in the corporate hierarchy. Spirit we share is shoved down your throat.

      Pros

      They are a very stable company that has experienced growth in each fiscal year since they opened in 1968. They are a very hard working company that really does think about their employees while making decisions. The benefits they offer are second to none. They work well around home schedules. I have had to take 4 days off when my wife and I had our baby and they were fantastic about that.

      Cons

      I was initially told the pay salary was 40,000 and then when it was time to sign the employee aggreements, it suddenly became 38,000. The sales system is a little bit too micro managed.

      I came to Cintas to get out of a toxic work environment.

      Cons

      Out of the proverbial frying pan, and into the fire. It went well at first, then the cracks started appearing. Turnover in SSR's averages just over 3 weeks. My location hasn't been "fully staffed" in over 2.5 years, (my tenure). The ideal SSR is a robot that sells, not a person. Taking personal time for illness or family issues makes you less of an employee in management's eyes. The phrase "do it for your family" is thrown around a LOT. However, if you want to actually spend time with, or do something for your family, *most* management looks down on you. If you can't eat, sleep, & breathe Cintas, then don't apply as an SSR.
