Pros

The only positives are having a job and having benefits. Unfortunately i cannot add anything else that would be positive about this job or company

Cons

Negatives at this job: - Customer service reps are actually account manager but this means they only have to pay them less than $15/hour instead of a salary of $40k plus - You get only promoted if you are on their "like" list. It does not matter how hard you work or how good you are at your job. you can get promoted within 2 months though you know absolutely nothing but you are a favorite - if you are "lucky" to get promoted into management you will work 60 + hours for $42k - While the account specialists are working in a frenzy making all the bonus money and awards, they will never see a penny of it but management will receive all that money - Management does not even bother to talk to anyone unless they want something from you or yell at you - Higher national management told account specialists that they are not worthy of a bonus just like the janitor but can work their way up if they want to make money - Management will almost daily order lunches for themselves with company money while the rest of the company is offered the left overs after they are done - the typical turn over rate of about 80 employees in the whole building is at least 15 employees per six months period. There is a reason there are job opening all the time. - understaffed and overworked while management has free lunches among themselves. - not a single day of sick time or vacation during the first year - supposedly supporting the spartan way: which is true among the "lower" employees who do not get rewarded for anything while management travels big and eats steak - 3% salary increase a year. - they will tell you during your interview how easy it is to be promoted and how they are posting jobs all the time because the branch is growing so rapidly. The branch is growing but employees that quit can't even be replaced fast enough because the next one quit already.

Pros

-Good pay for an entry level position. -Opportunity to move up if successful -Partners and Management are friendly and always willing to help -Great training programs -benefits healthcare and 401K contributions are really great for a entry level position

Cons

-This is a sales job, it's listed as a service sales rep, but make no mistake about it this is a sales job with very real quotas that must be met or you will be fired. This isn't a bad thing. but people need to realize that you are not a delivery driver, except that you are a delivery driver who is expected to sell and grow your territory -the Territory you get starting out is luck based and depends on when you're hired, if they are adding new route because of growth, expect a much smaller route which means less money. If they hire you to replace someone there's a good chance the route you will be covering is established and a good chance to make some good money. Regardless of your skills as a sales person you can start the job making 60k+ based on nothing more than residual sales, you can also start the job at 35k because your territory is small and they expect you to grow it, again this has nothing to do with your talent level when you initially start out and more to do with the luck of the draw that was handed to you. My first route had me making around 45K annually, they guy they hired literally 1 month after i was hired took over a power route and was making 60k, we both hit our growth numbers at around the same clip respectfully yet he made 15k more than I did. -it Is very demanding and if you have a route that is far away, you will almost certainly be working 60 hours a week. -this may be more manager dependent but if you are falling behind on your numbers, you will be micro managed. happened to me at one point and several other partners. they try their best to be helpful and they are at least engaging on the matter, but you will be micro managed until your numbers come back to form.
