Pros

The only pro is the possibility for a pretty good income.

Cons

This company is full of micro managers. I have read so many posts on here where people are offended by the negative feedback given by past or present employers. All I am going to say is this.. Do not believe all of the positive posts on here. Most people from Cintas are not going to go out of their way to provide positive feedback unless they are with the company and are hurting for people. Atleast in the sales department. There are so many jobs/career options out there that pay better, have realistic expectations and who care about you more than Cintas does. I got screwed on my final salary check, commission check and bonus check. That is just how the company is. And before anyone comments about my post, please note that I am a P-Club and Diamond level sales rep. It doesn't make a difference how much you pay your employees, the environment in which the company operates is ridiculous.

Pros

Affordable benefit package Most employees are hardworking and great people Extensive learning opportunities

Cons

Company likes to brag about employee tenure but I’ve seen it be more detrimental than good. Tenured employees in management positions are extremely resistant to change. Lack of accountability from senior leadership to managers. Most of them will joke that they have to do something egregious to be fired. Corporate is so far removed from field offices and/or pretend to be blind to issues Strong culture and not for everyone. If you are not happy-go-lucky, lack tenure, and attempt to drive change they (location leadership) treat you like the black sheep. Same old story of old, white men in leadership Staying as long as you can will look great on your resume but it will be terrible for your health with the undue stress caused from corporate politics and nuisances Less than competitive pay but extremely high expectations across the board Little remote or hybrid opportunities

Pros

Co-workers (SOME) 401k benefits are good

Cons

Chaotic management Micromanaging Lack of staff Lack of training No morale Bad management No incentives Low pay Overworked Have to work there a year to get sick and vacation time One last thing: it's all about politics there. If you can succeed at manipulation and lying, then you can make it there. They tell you to be positive, yet they put multiple projects on you that they expect to be finished ASAP. You're yelled at if those projects are not finished because you get 20 other projects to do. They claim they distribute the work, but don't know how many steps the work takes. You know what they say about assuming?
