Siloed business - I've never worked for a company that has so little communication across the organization. I have struggled to answer some very high level macro-economic questions that I know will have been addressed elsewhere because teams don't share insights outside of their immediate work groups. Client - your experience is very much dictated by how your client treats outside consultants. Unfortunately I have a client that keeps consultants at an arm's length which makes our Circana team's job very difficult and isolated. On-boarding - basically no on-boarding or training process at all. Thankfully I had a line manager who created his own on-boarding agenda. This is slowly improving however with the introduction of an internal training platform called Circana University. Aggressive 2024 goals - extremely ambitious revenue goals for 2024 which is putting a lot of pressure on teams.
