Pros

Circle K is an ever growing company and you will never have to worry about being laid off or lack of work.

Cons

Circle k is too big for their own pants. They continue to buy daily and not doing anything with what they already have. They overwork their employees with little support. They brag on training their management team and associates but in all reality they throw them in with no training and wonder why they have the highest turnover in the industry.

Pros

So a pro of working the night shift here was the occasional burst of quiet where you could tackle your workload for the night... that was meant for 3 people.

Cons

Every. Single. Second. Of time was spent moving. They don't offer breaks, even for full time employees, night shift only has one person working for at least three people's worth of work, this store had roaches in it which was gross, and the turnover rate for employees should have been a dead givaway that something was wrong.

Pros

None that I can think of, as the app doesn't actually let any employees verify their age for discounts on cigarettes, beer, etc.

Cons

Benefits sound good, until you find out they don't cover much out of pocket cost. The pay is low, even in high pay areas. Like most large corporate chains they will also falsely list jobs as paying $2 more than the actual pay in order to get you through the door. The old bait and switch, to see if you're desperate enough to take less than the false advertisement. Nobody actually completes their duties, and will pawn them off on the next shift as well. That's why the coolers, and stock rooms will be overstocked and create tripping hazards and annoyance if you need to work in those areas. Particularly, you'll need to move huge amounts of product to reach a case of say beer that you only require 4 cans out of to restock a spot on the shelf. All in all it is not a very enjoyable experience as they'll try to have a positive community effect by tolerating drug addicts and homeless as well which puts employees at risk on the night shift.
