Pros

I joined the Cirium EMEA Sales team 3 months ago in the midst of the pandemic as an Aviation analyst and it has been the best months in my career so far. Cirium is a company where innovation radiates thanks to our wonderful CEO and leaders who have the company's values at their core. If you believe in data as the stepping stone of the aviation industry's next era, then it is the place to be. Our leader's mixed backgrounds (aviation and non-aviation) allow for the perfect balance of perceptions and point of views - which is, in my humble aviation-geek opinion, something the industry is lacking, as it has been reserved and closed off for far too long, hence where Cirium comes in to untangle obsolete and inefficient practices today. I have been in a few Sales departments before but none like Cirium's, where the VP is inspiring, motivating and holds his people as his number 1 priority - which is why I believe the team is doing so well. In terms of the day-to-day, there is a great culture of transparency and structure that allows you to succeed, if you want to, in the projects you take on. Direct managers are down to earth, considerate, and care about progression in your current role but also in the wider business. When it comes to gender equality - there is nothing I can say really, because this is how it should be in 2020! Myself being a true feminist and a millenial, I have not noticed this being an issue or a 'thing' at all. Cirium is an open, modern and forward-looking data company that pushes beyond the industry's borders, especially within its workforce. There are plenty of initiatives, however, that Cirium and the wider RBI teams organise such as weekly webinars and activities for Women in Data/STEM/Leadership that are incredibly inspiring, but then again, I think this company bases its values on merit and hard work.

Cons

All I can think of is a waiting list on bike parking which is a bit annoying... but then that's every building in the City of London!
