Pros

No large layoffs in a while. The company culture has traditionally been amazing.

Cons

Under the new executive leadership, it's uncertain how the future of Cirrus will unfold. Budgets are getting tight, leadership assessment surveys have been removed, new leaders have been brought in without communication with existing staff. The company is looking for ways to save money left and right at the cost of the employee's mental health, the culture that existed before, and the charm that has made Cirrus a unique place to work.

Pros

great perks step inside the snack room and anything you find is free yearly theme park trips, weekly happy hours and numerous music concerts good growth, thanks to Apple

Cons

very political management people get fired left and right Managers can fire people just because ppl disagree with them I have seen 2 VPs get fired within 3 years and many Cirrus veterans thrown out just because the new VP or manager didn't like them

Under the direction of the new CEO, the former values of Cirrus Logic have been abandoned. While it’s likely not directly his fault, the unfortunate people he has chosen to hire in positions of management are failing enormously. Rather than assimilating into the company and its culture, these new managers felt it was more ethical and easier for them to simply fire everyone in sight so they could start with a fresh new team. It doesn’t matter to them how many lives they ruin by doing this, it’s all about them. In actuality, due to the amazingly warm and professional culture that Cirrus previously boasted, these new managers could have been welcomed with open arms and received wisdom and guidance from their teams of dedicated workers, most of whom who had been loyal to Cirrus for decades. Unfortunately for the new management, this now means that both they and their new teams have no idea what they’re doing. Most of the newer employees quickly realized they had hopped aboard a scuttled ship and jumped as soon as they could. The turnover is shocking. This is not the place it used to be. These new managers are calculated, inhumane, unethical, and cutthroat. If you had asked me five years ago to give a review of Cirrus Logic, I’d have given it more than 5 stars if I could have. Unfortunately, this place is just not what it used to be. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
