Pros

Pay is great. Hours are pretty good. The training is very useful and well thought out.

Cons

stressful. Constant cold calling. Micro management is horrible. Incentive program is horrible. They don’t care about their employees and only want sales. If you don’t hit your goals, not only will they increase them for the next quarter but you will be micromanaged until you break.

Pros

Over the past 5 years Citizens has transformed itself to a top regional bank and one of the leading regional banks in the usage of data analytics. 1) Strong Entry Level Options with potential for growth (leadership development programs for recent college graduates) 2) Strong Mid Career Opportunities for subject matter experts 3) Supportive and encouraging leadership team with a clear path to future growth 4) Strong risk management and analytical culture

Cons

A benefit of Citizens is the balance between strong risk management and entreprenuer approach, specially in its consumer banking division which has seen it fare share of growht in the consumer lending space. That growth has resulted in hiring a combination of external talent from multiple larger companies to be able to support a material amount of organic growth, this is no bad by itself but everyone brings their own culture and not all are focused on leadership development. Make sure that you are working for someone that has a track record of promoting its team members, stay away from teams were there is no evidence of growth or internal promotions.
