      Pros

      - There are some great people in this company. It's a diverse group. - Travel Expense Reimbursement - PTO

      Cons

      - Standing for most of the day - You will have to work a lot of weekend days - The sales goals are ridiculous. This company wants to make the numbers look great so they can get bought out - Weekly call nights (telemarketing) - You get micromanaged - The bonus structure. It's tough to exceed your goals and your bonus is paid out months after the quarter ends.

      RBS is divesting itself of Citizens Financial Group, and is striving to make CFG a more attractive investment.

      Pros

      The efforts to make CFG a more attractive investment are making it a less desirable place to work. There is a huge lack of stability for employees. Workplace change has to be the understatement of the year. The expertise that had been accumulated over the years is vanishing, and being replaced by new hires both overseas and in the U.S. Many experienced executives are being replaced by new people from other banks and financial institutions. Some of them are good, and others not so much. It will be interesting to see how this turns out in the next few years.

      Cons

      The biggest con of working at CFG now is instability. Another one is increased regulatory focus from the OCC, etc. Yet another is the continued reduction in benefits to save money.

      Only care about numbers, favorites get free passes, always understaffed

      Pros

      Lots of locations and hours are flexible. Lots of PTO vacation time given.

      Cons

      Expected to hit numbers while ALWAYS working understaffed. Favortism is rampant among management--do not expect equal treatment. Customer service is #1 focus on paper but you are expected to sell at every interaction.
