Pros

Great pay, nice people. Buildings are clean. Has lunch area in some locations.

Cons

You are required to spy on people's accounts. The need for referrals is so high that employees make you open another account so that the branch gets credit for sales.

Pros

They will never fire you not Matter how much you mess up They are very desperate and old school and think there the best but are really behind

Cons

The technology is horrible , the citizens way is the totally opposite of all other banks and Doesn't make and sense which is why the company is crumbling at the hands of investors who bought them out from Royal Bank of Scotland and refuse to Do anything to make our jobs easier. Very annoying work culture you are micro managed and it's very conservative. They a dinosaur company and if they don't get hip with the times and processes they will die out

Pros

If your lucky enough to work with a good team then it makes the days go by faster. I am fortunate enough to work with people who look out for each other and we make it fun. We try to make our office a family atmosphere.

Cons

Everything is micromanaged. The salary isn't as good as they make it seem and the incentive plan used to be great until the company decided to split with RBS and go public. Now you have to kill yourself to get a decent bonus. The benefits are just OK. The aggressive sales culture promotes the same environment that Wells Fargo had which led them to opening fake accounts. People don't go to banks the way they used to before now that everything is electronic yet they still expect you to make the same sales quotas. The computer systems are extremely outdated. I've worked for other banks and this is by far the worst computer system I've ever used and the network crashes regularly and you have to work "offline." Expect to stay for call night so there isn't much work life balance. Typically scheduled 6 days a week but no overtime. No matter what your position is, you will spend most of your time on the teller line; you are a glorified teller. Micromanagement, outdated systems, poor salary, benefits are just OK,
