Pros

Summer flex hours (that Director may take away). Annual bonuses (that your Director may also take away).

Cons

CAUTION!!! This company's culture is moving in a direction that's the worst that I have ever seen. I totally agree with one of the other Glassdoor review who mentioned that upper management will motivate you by threats of job loss and write ups if you don't meet their unattainable and ridiculous goals. It does not matter if you have exceeded years prior. That will all be all forgotten. Within the last year they have FIRED almost a dozen employees (if not more) who have been with the company for many years. Some have been top performers. All of their jobs have been replaced. This place is nothing but and 100% numbers driven. You'll be expected to bring in MILLIONS & MILLIONS (no exaggeration) although there's not enough work to justify. Upper management knows this so they've become creative by making you renegotiation exiting contracts, expecting you to obtain steeper discounts. You'll also be expected to solicit providers types who have historically declined over and over and over again. On top of negotiating contacts, you'll also have to manage markets. This can take up to 70% of your time which is not reflected in your goals. GET THE PICTURE!!! If you don't meet their goals they'll totally take away your bonus (if you haven't already been fired). Even though you've contributed and made the company some money, they will not even prorate it! The environment is like a bunch of vultures. Everyone is looking out for their own interest and can care less about helping one another. People have been known to steal contracts. Upper management will not have your back. They'll throw you under the bus before it even drives by. I hope this review helps to make a best decision for yourself. Good luck.

Pros

There are no pros for working under a racist leadership board.

Cons

I have worked directly with those in senior leadership, so I can safely say that MANY senior leaders hold racist views and act on them. In my time at Multiplan, I have witnessed many POC employees being discriminated against, not promoted, and unfairly given more work to do. In my role, I was also a part of the interview process for other roles, and have witnessed that senior leadership will pass up well rounded, qualified POC candidates. I informed HR of this but they did nothing and continued to uphold the racism at Multiplan. In 2023, Multiplan stands proudly as a discriminatory company.

Pros

The parental leave benefit is great. Can't say enough about it, but it's also not a benefit that every employee actually benefits from.

Cons

With the hiring of our new CEO, we've lost many benefits including Summer Hours, Winter Hours, and the commoners of the company got no raise this year. Bonuses suffered as well. Mine was about 60% of what it was last year. I think we all understand tightening our belts for the good of the company, but it was pretty much a slap in the face when our latest company newsletter let us know that Claritev is sponsoring FOUR PRO GOLFERS. Who benefits from this? I'm guessing the executives get perqs, but again - it's not a benefit that every employee actually benefits from. Also, it seems we're hiring for positions that don't seem to add a ton of value, and they're executive (high-paying) jobs.
